How it plays

Spell it. Watch it land.

Swipe across the letters on the wheel to spell a word. Each puzzle hides its words in a crossword, and every word you find drops into place.

  • Puzzle words

    Fill the board

    Each level hides 2 to 10 words. Spell one and its letters fly to their squares. Find them all to clear the level.

  • Bonus words

    Into the jar

    Any other real word you can make counts too. It drops into the Bonus Jar, and every 5 bonus words earns a Hint Token.

  • Hint Tokens

    One letter

    Stuck? A Hint Token turns up one more letter on the board.

  • Power-ups

    Four kinds

    Word Reveal puts the longest word still hidden onto the board. Letter Burst, First Letters and Target turn up letters for you. Find them in Chests, launch more with Power-up Rockets from the Shop, and get a mystery Power-up every 7th day in a row.

  • Difficulty

    Your pick

    Easy, Normal, Hard or Expert sets how hard the levels get. Every new game deals new words, and you can change the difficulty any time.

Modes

Levels when you want a goal. Endless when you don’t.

  • Levels

    Find every word to clear a level. No help earns three stars, and up to two hints earns two. On Normal the wheel grows from 3 letters to 7, and the levels never end.

  • Endless Mode

    No last level: one puzzle after another, as many as you like. Unlocks when you clear level 10.

  • Daily Challenge

    A new puzzle every day, the same one for every player. Clear it for a Daily Chest, and keep your streak going for a bigger Streak Chest every 7th day. Unlocks when you clear level 8.

Collect

467 Styles to collect.

Plus 30 Music Tracks. Most come to you just by playing.

  1. Play

    A new Style on most levels from level 11 to 94, and Music Tracks along the way.

  2. Chests

    Win them as you play, or buy them with the coins you collect, including Daily Coins when you play days in a row. Some Styles and Music Tracks are found only in Chests.

  3. Subscription & VIP

    The WordGamr Subscription adds its own Styles, plus the Your Photo, Any Color and Random backgrounds. VIP opens every Style and Music Track except Halloween’s, which come free every October.
